About

A romance for the year we fell into screens. And reality of that unreality became so intimate we forgot what it felt like to fall into eyes. To see the little bits of poetry in the messages we send like they're nothing, while reading into every last word. Looking for smoke signals in read receipts. Hiding out in Air Plane mode. This is a reminder to hold onto what feels real. Even when hands get a little slippery. Dripping with expectations. Because when we come back to each other in spite of all that is. You really fall.

This project is a series of haikus and digital animations that trace the life cycle of a relationship, from first meeting to end-ish. It explores the art of falling in love at a time where we are both careless and obsessive about our communication.
